The Saskatchewan Employment Act, Part III (SEA) and the associated Regulations set the minimum standards for health and safety in the workplace, including protection from violence and harassment in the workplace. In Saskatchewan workers are most likely to be covered by the provincial SEA. The Saskatchewan Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety, one of the agencies concerned with safe workplace practices, administers the SEA and Regulations.

2005 Convention Resolution #64

The Saskatchewan Federation of Labour pressure the Provincial and Federal Governments, along with the CLC, to ban the use of asbestos for any purpose including import, export or manufacturing.
