SFL Calls on Finance Minister to Push for CPP Expansion at Ottawa Meeting

 

Members of the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour are calling on the finance minister to push strongly for much-needed expansion of the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) at the upcoming finance ministers meeting in Ottawa. Whereas contribution rates for the CPP have not changed since 2003, prices in Saskatchewan continue to rise for basic necessities like food, electricity, and housing.
