The Federation of Labour Supports the Day of Pink

 

Today, and every year on the second Wednesday of April, people around the globe will celebrate the International Day of Pink. Sometimes simply called “Pink Shirt Day,” it is an occasion for communities across the province, and across the globe, to come together in a celebration of diversity. Perhaps most importantly, the Day of Pink also represents an effort to raise awareness about homophobic, transphobic, and other forms of bullying.
