August 18, 2011 - SFL Concerned That Corporate Petroleum Setting Policy for Saskatchewan
Members of the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour are extremely concerned to learn that the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) has been intimately involved in setting the energy policy agenda, hand-in-hand with the Conservative Government of Alberta, for our neighbouring province.
Delegates at the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour (SFL) convention in Regina have concluded elections, and Larry Hubich will remain the president after no challenger was nominated. This will be Hubich’s seventh term as president in a row, each term being two years in duration.
The Saskatchewan Federation of Labour (SFL) is calling on the Saskatchewan Party government to take advantage of the new legislative session to rebalance this province’s labour legislation.
