January 17, 2012 - Working People Puzzled as Government Seeks Feedback on Consensus WCB Report
Working people across the province are scratching their heads today as the Government of Saskatchewan has called for additional feedback on 2011’s Workers Compensation Board (WCB) Committee of Review (COR) Report. The report, which is more than eighty pages long, makes a total of fifty-seven recommendations, fifty-five of which are made by consensus between representatives from business and those on behalf of working people.
The Saskatchewan Federation of Labour is calling for greater communication with the Provincial Government in light of the recent Charter challenge decision.
Earlier this afternoon, the Saskatchewan Court of Queen’s Bench released a historic decision protecting the rights of working people across the province.
