May 25, 2012 - Working People Decry Mean-Spirited Changes to Employment Insurance
Working people across Saskatchewan are voicing their concern about the Harper Government’s recently-announced changes to Employment Insurance (EI). Not only have Government Members failed to provide evidence that their changes to the program are necessary, but they’ve made changes that are mean-spirited and unfair to unemployed working people.
Since 1911, individuals and organizations across the globe have come together to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD).
Working people across Saskatchewan were disappointed today to see how few of their priorities are reflected in the 2014 federal budget. Once again, the Harper government seems to have missed an opportunity to improve the lives of the millions of people that work across Canada.
