November 15, 2011 - SFL to Argue Provincial Government Failed to Consult
The Saskatchewan Federation of Labour, along with two dozen additionalplaintiffs (unions) and the case's three intervenor unions, will be in court today to argue that the provincial government failed in its responsibility to consult with working people and their organizations prior to the introduction of Bills 5 and 6.
Delegates at the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour (SFL) convention in Regina have concluded elections, and Larry Hubich will remain the president after no challenger was nominated. This will be Hubich’s seventh term as president in a row, each term being two years in duration.
The Saskatchewan Federation of Labour (SFL) is calling on the Saskatchewan Party government to take advantage of the new legislative session to rebalance this province’s labour legislation.
