October 19, 2011 - SFL Officially Opens 56th Annual Convention in Saskatoon
Saskatchewan Federation of Labour President, Larry Hubich, officially opened the 56th Annual Convention of the SFL this morning with a stirring Presidential address. In front of an energetic crowd of over 500 delegates, Hubich spoke of the need of working people to continue the struggle for social and economic justice.
Since 1911, individuals and organizations across the globe have come together to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD).
Working people across Saskatchewan were disappointed today to see how few of their priorities are reflected in the 2014 federal budget. Once again, the Harper government seems to have missed an opportunity to improve the lives of the millions of people that work across Canada.
